PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPEAN PROGRAM “HEALTHY EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH” (HEY) IN CYPRUS
The Scientific Non-Profit Association “Innovating Activities in Education, Tourism, Health and Interculturality” (KDETYD) excitedly announces its participation in the European program “Healthy Empowerment of Youth” (HEY). The program will take place in Pervolia, Larnaca, Cyprus, from July 1st to July 9th, 2025.
The HEY program, hosted by Youth Dynamics from Cyprus, brings together young people from various European countries. In addition to Greece, participants include Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, and Italy, with each country represented by 8 young people aged 18 to 30 years old.
Key Objectives of the “Healthy Empowerment of Youth” (HEY) Program:
- The program aims to promote healthy and active lifestyles among young people, utilizing innovative, non-formal educational methods. Through a series of interactive activities, it seeks to:
- Encourage intercultural exchange of traditions, experiences, and customs among participants.
- Explore well-being through experiential outdoor activities, promoting physical and mental health.
- Develop young people’s skills to become more active and responsible European citizens, capable of contributing positively to their communities.
KDETYD, faithful to its mission of promoting innovative actions in education, health, and interculturality, looks forward to a constructive participation that will enrich its young members with valuable knowledge and experiences, while strengthening European ties and understanding among peoples.
