Healthy Empowerment of Youth (HEY)

A member of the association “Innovative Actions in Education, Tourism, Health and Interculturality – K.D.E.T.Y.D.” participated in the Advance Planning Visit (APV) of the group leaders, held from May 9 to 11, 2025, for the preparation of the Youth Exchange programme “Healthy Empowerment of Youth (HEY)”.
The hosting organization is Youth Dynamics from Cyprus, and the participating countries are Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, and Greece.
The “Healthy Empowerment of Youth” (HEY) programme is an initiative involving 48 dedicated young people from 6 EU countries, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, and to encourage young people to take an active role in promoting these values within their communities.
The project will promote a healthy way of life through physical activities, including sports, while simultaneously increasing the cultural awareness of the participants. They will learn about the traditions and cultures of different countries.
Through the youth exchange, participants will learn about, observe, and explore various types of sports and healthy living practices.
The youth mobility will take place in Pervolia, Larnaca (Cyprus) from July 1 to 9, 2025.
