Strengthening the Digital Skills in Adult Education

On Friday, November 8, 2024, the final event of the Erasmus Adult Education program took place on the topic: “Strengthening the digital skills in adult education (SDSA)” which was implemented by the association Innovative Actions in Education, Tourism, Health and Interculturalism KDETYD in collaboration with the educational organization Inercia Digital S.L of Spain. The program was implemented with actions in the training of a group of teachers to strengthen digital skills in adult education from Greece to Spain and the development of skills for digital literacy in adults over 55 years of age in Greece and Spain. The training in Drama was carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Drama and the members of KAPI Drama as well as with members of cultural and charitable associations of the Prefecture of Drama. The trainees participated in internet use courses, such as digital payments, communication on social media, and use of Google services. The aim of the training was the communication and socialization of the participants and their autonomy. The participants were beneficiaries over 55 years of age who participated in the computer learning programs and citizens of Drama. The trainees were excited about their contact with the modern world of the internet and shared their personal experiences.
