Knowing the Historical Landmarks of our City

On Friday, June 17, an experiential workshop was held by the association INNOVATING ACTIVITIES IN EDUCATION, TOURISM, HEALTH AND INTERCULTURALITY KDETYD. The experiential action was designed and presented by the Historian – Ethnologist Mrs. Fotiadou Maria with the title: “We know the historical reference points of our city”. The aim is to get acquainted with known and unknown items of the history of the place (monuments, memorial sites, buildings), the development of historical consciousness and the exercise of observation of the participants. The action was implemented with a mental tour of predetermined routes in the city through the urban maps, with highlighting through the presentation of reference areas, and was completed with a questionnaire of final evaluation of the experience.
